Allow late arrival means allowing a few minutes grace before starting to reduce paid hours. We recommend a value of between two and five minutes here. Ignore early arrival is used to prevent the generation of small amounts of overtime by people arriving before normal working hours. Extra time before normal working hours will be ignored by the system unless it is for a longer period than the value entered here. In the example above, an employee working for an extra 30 minutes will be credited with that overtime whilst an employee working for an extra 20 minutes will not be credited with overtime.
