Selecting options for mass reading entry
If you selected "Add new readings" from the readings menu you will be presented with this form which requires you to supply some essential information. The system needs that information in order to determine which employee records must be processed.
 Browse/edit pay item descriptions
Click here if you need to input readings for a meter type which has not yet been defined (e.g. an item description exists for electricity consumption, but you are about to enter readings taken from water meters). You can then create the new description and when you have done so, select it from the list to the left of this button.

 Description
Select the meter type (water, electricity etc.) for which readings will be entered.

 Date
The date on which the deductions must be made from the employees' wages.
|
|
 Calendar
Displays a calendar from which you can select a date.
|
|
 Generate readings for
Indicate whether the readings will be entered for one employee group or for all employee groups.
|
|
 Employee group
If you chose "One employee group", select the group.
|
|
 Users
"Existing users" means that the system will process only those employees from the chosen group(s) who had deductions for the particular meter type on their latest payslips. If "All users" is selected, all employees from the chosen group(s) will be processed.

 OK
Save the values currently displayed.

 Cancel
Close the window and do nothing.
